Plot Summary:
A young man named Denji lives in a world full of vicious creatures known as Devils. One day, he makes friends with Pochita, a chainsaw-like Devil dog-thing. As if things weren't already bizarre enough, Denji is murdered by criminals, and Pochita merges with his spirit to save him. Denji, who is constantly hungry and horny, is transformed into the titular Chainsaw Man as a result. He ends up hunting other Devils for the mysterious Makima, a woman who works for a government agency of Devil Hunters. Makima entices Denji with ambiguous promises of sex and fortune while treating him like a dog.

Plot Summary:
Eighty percent of the population now possesses one or more of the "Quirks" that humanity has produced. Both superheroes and villains are growing in power thanks to these new powers.
